Brontë dress
I purchased two Brontë dresses last year - in dark blue and orange. They are made of a crinkly cotton and the skirt is lined with a full attached liner. I love how these dresses look and feel - a bit retro, like wearing a crinoline, only really subtle. Anyway, this periwinkle Brontë has the same cut and fit but the fabric is a very light cotton that lacks the body and feel of the crinkly cotton ones. The Brontë periwinkle is sold with an ill-fitting slip rather than an attached skirt liner. So I’ve ordered an Eden slip in amethyst to wear underneath instead.
