Eden Patchwork Tablecloth

I’m very disappointed with the poor quality of the two Eden tablecloths I just purchased. Based on past experience as a customer of April Cornell at the Halifax, N.S. retail store I felt confident that I could expect a high quality cloth. Sadly it seems it’s not the case with this company anymore. The fabric is thin and flimsy and does not lay well. There were some little issues upon opening with threads loose and showing and a small stain and seams not joined well that I chose to overlook as the print was beautiful and we needed the cloths for a special occasion. However, after washing once in cold water it became evident that the thinness of the fabric does not allow it to lay and drape nicely, especially with this one that has two layers of fabric. It buckles and billows and does not lay smooth. I can tell if I ironed it the seams would not line up and it would be all buckled up. This should be a heavier and denser weave and preshrunk with more attention to quality construction in order to meet quality expectations. Thank you.
