Daisy haberdashery Pinafore
Cute design & colour but too small in the waist as mentioned. I also cross the straps to make the bib fit., which also could be larger. Would be perfect in a larger size but none available.

Cute
I think this is cute. The cotton fabric is comfy and substantial so perfect for cooler days. I bought the Springtime Jacket to wear with the skirt. The jacket is a touch darker than the skirt but it matches ok. It will be a good outfit for the end of August and September and early spring next year too. The skirt is fairly long which I like. The waist was a bit small on me but I’m handy with a sewing machine so I could alter it to fit. If I were to buy it again I would buy carefully according to waist size. The skirt is wide so there is ample room for hips. I needed to move the buttons to make the straps a bit shorter. I also cross the straps in the back rather than straight over the shoulders like in the picture. The embroidery is darling.

Disappointing
The fabric is quite thick and rough. I am 5’3” and shortened it by 4”, breaking my Bernina sewing machine needle trying to go through folds! The waist is relatively small compared to other XXL dresses I’ve bought. The bib is too wide and requires darts to make it lie flat. I like the color though.
