Penelope Tunic Dress
It's a pretty dress and I like that it's not as high waisted as many other dresses in the April collection tend to be. Being short waisted, the fit is more flattering when a waist fits at the waist, not above. The fabric is nice but quite thin and more of a summer weight than fall or winter. But the dark colours definitely give off a winter vibe. Reliable quality but would benefit from longer sleeves. It is more of a transitional dress than one that fits firmly into one season or another. With layers, it will suitable for fall/winter but layering means covering up some of the pretty details. That's a bit of a shame. Overall, nice style and good value.

5 stars because it is gorgeous -- the colour and print are incredibly beautiful BUT I ordered a medium and received a size small. I always order a small size but every time it's 100% rayon it shrinks in length and width (even though I wash on cold and delicate) so I decided from now on to order a Medium when it's 100% rayon. Funny coincidence that my plan backfired so now I'm hoping that this gorgeous dress doesn't shrink like all the other rayon items do, fingers crossed :)
