Bright and cheerful summer dress
As a redhead, I am loving the pretty earthy colours in this dress! And the dress is wonderfully loose and breezy for hot and humid summer days. Earlier this year I bought the pack of 2 Millie half slips, and the length of the shorter slip (on me) falls just above the slit in the front of this dress…perfect! I would like to thank Lizabeth for the comments she made about the size of this dress in her review. I ordered a size small (instead of my usual medium) based on her comments and it fits me with room to spare. I may even have been able to get away with a size extra small. But I am quite satisfied to have the extra bit of room in the size small during this hotter than usual summer in my region.

Canyon stripe dress
The cloth is a very sturdy crinkle cloth. The colours are very cheerful. The empire waste seems especially high. The skirt portion of the dress is voluminous. I ordered one size smaller than I normally do because I thought it was probably cut generously. I would recommend you might consider ordering two sizes smaller. It’s a very long dress so if you’re not tall, you may want to hem it shorter. I’m going to see what I can do to adjust it to fit me a bit better. I chose not to return it because I really like the fabric and the colors.
